Grunnskóli Seltjarnarness has around 600 students in two buildings. The
school has 120 employees, a headteacher and two assistant head teachers.
The school has good sports facilities with a sportshall, swimmingpool and a
soccerfield close by. In the vicinity there is also a music school where
students can take classes within the school hours. Skólaskjól is where
students in grades 1 – 4 can go after school and it is open till 17:15 in
the afternoon.
